Outpatient Internal Medicine locums in Illinois with no call and a predictable weekday schedule, seeing a Medicare-heavy primary care panel. Fast credentialing is available, with a minimum 3 month commitment.

Highlights

• No call required.
• Fast credentialing, target timeframe is about 30 days.
• Monday through Friday clinic schedule, no weekends listed.
• Manageable clinic volume, 16 to 18 patients per day.

Practice Setting

• Outpatient clinic setting.
• Patient population is primarily Medicare, majority age 65 and older.
• Support includes nurse practitioners, MA and scribe support, plus RNs supporting the clinic overall.
• Traditional internal medicine primary care scope.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM.
• ASAP coverage need, estimated start date is 2026-11-23.
• Minimum commitment is 3 months.
• No call.

Cases and Procedures

• Primary care management in an older population, diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia.
• Mild cognitive impairment.
• CHF and history of coronary artery disease.
• No procedures.

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO.
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
• Active Illinois license required, facility will not wait for licensure.
• DEA required.
