Together, we can make a difference while building a rewarding career!The Survey CADD Technician is responsible for preparing detailed survey drawings and maps using Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) software based on field data collected by survey crews. This role supports land surveying, civil engineering, and construction projects by translating field notes and measurements into accurate topographic, boundary, and construction plans. The Survey CADD Technician collaborates with surveyors, engineers, and project managers to ensure deliverables meet technical and quality standards, project specifications, and deadlines.Responsibilities and DutiesDraft accurate survey plats and easement plats, ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.Process and analyze topographic survey data to produce precise, actionable results.Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with project teams to ensure clarity and alignment.Read, interpret, and apply information from plans, profiles, cross sections, details, figures, graphs, and charts.Generate existing and proposed surface models and contour maps to support project design and planning.Prepare staking data to guide survey crews and support field operations.Provide support for field assignments as needed, contributing to successful project execution.Preferred Qualifications and SkillsAssociates degree in Computer Aided Drafting & DesignSurvey knowledge of land surveying principles, practices and terminologyAuto CAD/MicroStation experienceRequired QualificationsHigh School diploma or GED equivalentWith offices throughout the Midwest, JEO is proud to offer a robust benefits package designed to support and protect our employees and their loved ones.
